Dona Paula is a former village, and tourist destination, in the suburbs of Panaji, Goa, India. Beautiful Filmi Chakkar Old Goa Church, Dona Paula, Goa Science Centre, Miramar Beach, Fort Aguada/Sinquerim Beach, Vagator Beach, Lord Chouranginath Temple, Anjuna Beach, Calangute Beach, Saligao Church, Panjim Church, River Cruise. etc. Overall its a nice beach, less crowded and thus fun. Good for taking pics without worrying about getting other people in the shot.
You can also see the red jeep of the life-guard taking rounds all the time, beach is clean but water is not clear due to brown / black sand. We tried two locations one near the miramar residency and another near the Goa science center and both turned out good. Daughter loved it and ran all around in the water. If you are looking for less crowded beach to have fun with friends or family, this is the one. But there are no changing rooms or stalls nearby, just some near miramar residency.
