CANCELLATION OF BOOKING

Whatsplan believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy: Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 72 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.No cancellations are entertained for those products that the Whatsplan marketing team has obtained on special tours like Group Tour, etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.In case you feel that the product (trip) received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.TT or its affiliate partners will not be liable for any Visa rejections and Hotel cancellation policies would still stand as they are.Refunds can only be given in cases of inclusions mentioned in package confirmed by customer are not delivered by booking agent. Refunds will not be given in any other case.If due to unforeseen circumstances, the traveler has to pay for the inclusions already mentioned in the package, refund claims for the inclusions part of the package may be considered and refunded upon submission of proper receipts, provided this was pre-informed to Whatsplan advisor or travel agent.Whatsplan guarantees delivery of services booked through Whatsplan. In case part package is booked by traveler themselves or outside of Whatsplan, no claim against such services shall be entertained.In case local attractions are closed for maintenance/weather conditions/government orders/strike/curfew/natural calamity/other unforeseen reasons, Whatsplan/travel agent will try its best to reimburse the traveler appropriate amount against the same in case refund is possible. However, Whatsplan/travel agent are not obligated for the same and cannot be held liable against it.

Cancellation of bookings can be done either through the User's login in the Whatsplan's website or mobile application, or by calling on the customer care number. Cancellation of individual events depends on the terms and conditions of the event, and cancellation is subjected to applicable events or packages only. Any cancellation request must be done well in advance before 3 business days for Tour packages, and events, post that any cancellation will incur a late cancellation charge.

The cancellation policy is effective for all vacations crafted by Whatsplan from 01 April 2020. Whatsplan customers eligible for refunds will receive the refund amount within 90 working days from the date of cancellation or when the supplier(s) processes the refund, whichever is later. For refunds related to on-trip cancellations, customers will receive the refund amount within 90 working days from the date of their return or when the supplier(s) processes the refund, whichever is later. The Refund amount depicted is subjected to change based on international exchange rates , refunds received from suppliers and payments received from customers till date. Any change in refund amount will be communicated to customers by their respective account owners.

Flights

On cancelling flights marked as “Non-Refundable” on the final travel vouchers, customers will be eligible for a zero refund. For Flights marked as “Refundable” on the final travel vouchers, customers will receive a refund as per the details mentioned under the “Cancellation Policy” section of the product and also in the final itinerary shared over the email. The total refunds for flights may include components which vary as per the international exchange rates. Whatsplan will not be responsible for grounded/cancelled/delayed flights. Any cancellation requests for these flights will have to be placed with the respective airlines. Realization of refunds would be subject to processing by the respective airline carrier. The onus is on the customer to ensure that his/her passport has a minimum of 1-year validity and is in good condition. Whatsplan is not liable to refund a customer who is not allowed to board the flight because of invalid passports (validity expired, damaged passports). Customers are expected to reach the airport ahead of their boarding time (at least 2 hours prior to boarding time). Whatsplan is not responsible to refund customers (for cases wherein airport transfers are not planned by us) who miss their flights owing to delayed arrival at the airport. For cases wherein airport transfers are planned by Whatsplan, flight cancellations due to delayed transfers owing to unforeseen circumstances specific to a region will not be borne by Whatsplan. Details about baggage limitations (cabin and check-in) will be furnished as part of the final travel vouchers. Additional costs owing to breached baggage limits will have to be paid by the customer at the time of check-in. Certain flight carriers (LCC like Ryanair, Vueling, Voltea etc.) have a mandatory web check-in policy. Failure to comply with this could result in an additional cost to be paid at the airport. Whatsplan is not liable to refund customers in such circumstances. Whatsplan will set meal preferences for customers with airline carriers upon request. However, Whatsplan has no control over the availability and quality of meals served on the flight. This will be controlled completely by the airline carrier.

Hotels

On cancelling hotels which have been marked as “Non-Refundable” on the final travel vouchers, the customer will be eligible for a zero refund. For hotels which have been marked as “Refundable” on the final travel vouchers, refunds and their timelines will be applicable as mentioned under the “Cancellation Policy” section of the product and in the final itinerary shared over email. The total refunds for hotels may include components which vary with international exchange rates. While Whatsplan strives to provide the best hotels with world-class amenities, we cannot be held responsible for factors such as hotel staff behaviour, cleanliness and quality of accommodation. Additional costs owing to on-trip room upgrades and additional amenities will be borne by the customer. All hotels changed on-trip (Hotels booked per itinerary cancelled and new hotels booked) will entail a 100% cancellation fee. Entertaining early check-in or late check-out requests is solely based on the discretion of the hotel. Whatsplan will not be able to process cancellation requests owing to non-availability of these requests.

Activities & Events

On cancelling activities marked as “Non-Refundable” on the final travel vouchers, the customer will be eligible for a zero refund. For activities, which have been marked as “Refundable” on the final travel vouchers, refunds and their timelines will be applicable as mentioned under the “Cancellation Policy” section of the product and in the final itinerary shared over email. The total refund for activities may include components which vary with international exchange rates.

Transfers

For all transfers, refunds and their timelines will be applicable as mentioned under the “Cancellation Policy” section of the product and in the final itinerary shared over email. The total refunds for transfers may include components which vary with international exchange rates.

Visa & Insurance

Whatsplan acts as a facilitator for processing Visa applications. We will guide customers on Visa formalities & Visa documentation for specific destinations. The discretion to grant/reject Visa rests solely with the concerned embassy and Whatsplan will not be responsible for rejection of any applications. The visa fee is non-refundable in case of rejected visa applications. While we strive to provide a seamless Visa experience to the customers, Whatsplan will not be held responsible for unforeseen changes to Visa formalities levied by the embassy during the document submission and processing phase. Insurance once applied is subject to 100% cancellation fee and is non-refundable.

Token advances paid through online wont be refunded for cancellations.

REFUND POLICY

Under this policy: If you are, for any reason, not entirely happy with your purchase, we will cheerfully issue applicable refund provided such refund is sought pursuant to cancellation and the request for same is made within 72 hours of your purchase and shall be further subject to the travel agent having not processed your order. To request a refund, simply contact us with your purchase details within three (3) days of your purchase. Please include your order number (sent to you via email after ordering) and optionally tell us why you’re requesting a refund - we take customer feedback very seriously and use it to constantly improve our products and quality of service. Refunds are being processed within 21 days period however, we shall not be liable for any default caused in processing the refund amount owing to the delay caused by processing bank.Any amendments/additions to package (dates, inclusions, itinerary etc), will be done at extra cost to the customer. Changes made to the package will be made as per cancellation policy of the original package and customer has to bear the cost incurred due to this.Whatsplan doesn't encourage changes and modifications to online bookings once they're made. However, facilitation of changes related to postponement or rescheduling of the already booked package is the sole discretion of Travel agent under permitted circumstances. Whatsplan shall not be held liable for any impact due to change in original itinierary by the traveler and this is subject to mutual agreement and discussion between traveler and travel agent.In case of force majeure cases (such as curfew, riots etc), Whatsplan shall not be liable for any losses made thereof.Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not even with all due care, foresee or forestall such as (by way of example and not by way of limitation) war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, acts of God, adverse weather conditions, and all similar events.
