Airavatesvara Temple

The Airavatesvara Temple is located in Darasuram, which is about 3 kilometers west of Kumbakonam in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. The temple was built by Rajaraja Chola II in the 12th century during the Chola dynasty's rule. It is one of the Great Living Chola Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
