Tenzing Rock & Gompu Rock

Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock are prominent rock formations in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. They are named after two legendary personalities in the world of mountaineering, Tenzing Norgay and Nawang Gombu, who were associated with the first successful ascent of Mount Everest. Tenzing Rock is located about 3 kilometers from the town center of Darjeeling.
